The Dalavich Village Hall
Since the Village was established, the Forestry Commission embarked upon the holiday industry and built 44 log cabins to the North of the Village on the shore of the Loch.
The Forestry Commission ran it as a successful business until 2003 when the decision was made to sell it off.
The cabin site was sold as a whole but the new owners subsequently sold each log cabin separately.
This dramatically altered the way the Village Hall and the Social Club operated.
Slowly but surely, the new owners started to let their cabins over the year, and the visitors started to return.
There are plans to build more cabins but this has not yet materialised.
Regular events such as the Burns Night feast, November the fifth party and Christmas as well as Hogmanay, have taken the Hall from strength to strength.
