When, What, Why?
When!
2002 is when we set about controlling and protecting our environment when, with the help of the villagers and other supporting bodies, we purchased the
Dalavich Village Hall
from the Forestry Commission.
What!
What do we do? As owners of the building and the surrounding land, our responsibilities are wide ranging. We meet once a month in order to maintain the fabric of the building and administer affairs arising.
We also work hard to hold events to both entertain our visitors and villagers and to raise money to ensure our survival.
Why?
We love Dalavich and the Village Hall is a fitting centre for our social club which we share with all our visitors.
Ceilidhs, parties, Burns night celebrations, you name it, and Why not ask us to host it!
Dalavich Estabished 1952
Built as a logging village by the Forestry Commission, the village has grown to be self sustaining and is now heavily involved in the tourist industry.
